About Regency Fire Wood Heaters

Regency Wood fire wood heater have a variety of features and benefits depending on the model of heater you have.  Lets look at the Regency Fire Eco Boost technology.

  • Catalytic Combustor
    • This helps to create a constant heat by slowly reburning the wood smoke particles that you would normally loose up the chimney.  This gives the heater a greater burning efficiency which saves money on fuel used.
  • Convector Airmate
    • The Regency convector airmate system takes hot air from the rear and top of the heater and redirects it into the room giving you more heat than the wood stove would normally put out.
  • Temperature Thermometer
    • The Regency temperature thermometer indicates when you need to close the bypass lever and engage catalytic activity.
  • Cast Iron Damper
    • The heavy duty cast iron damper is used to close the damper and engage the catalytic combustor
  • Optional Blower
    • The optional variable speed blower distributes heat throughout the room
  • High Performance Firebricks
    • The high performance wood fire bricks provide superior insulation and heat reflection
  • Heavy Duty Cam Latch
    • The heavy duty cam latch provides an airtight seal for controlling airflow to the heater
  • Combustion Air
    • The air is taken from the room and drawn in for primary and secondary combustion
  • Large Ash Pan
    • The large ashpan provides a concealed ash drawer for easy clean up
  • Cool Touch Single Lever Air Control
    • Easily control the heat output and intensity of the fire by adjusting the amount of air intake.
  • Airwash System
    • The airwash system helps provide an excellent view of the fire by keeping the door glass cleaner.  When burning your wood fire on low the sooty build up on the heater blocks the view, turning up your heater and burning it brightly will allow the air wash system to clean the glass
  • Stainless Steel Flame Shield
    • The heavy duty stainless steel flame shield provides better distribution of the flame over the catalyst and extends the life of the catalyst.
  • Secondary Air Tube
    • The secondary air tube, working with the catalyst, ensures the fuel is burned to its full potential, resulting in lower emissions and high heat output.
